Access was the biggest problem with this project, but with a little creativity and the help of the limited access rig, the job was complete quickly and in a cost efficient manner. A temporary deck was built with access to each future caisson and the limited access rig was brought in. By creating this temporary access, cost was cut significantly due to removing the amount of labor necessary to hand dig and properly shore hillside piles. The deck and walkways were poured at the same time per the homeowners request, and a specialized top cast finish was placed. Once the top cast was pressure washed, the sands and aggregate in the concrete rose to the surface of the deck creating a beautiful vintage concrete look the homeowner desired. Whether the work is physical or intricate, our experience helps tackle projects like this.
